Will this work for me?

The VelorBoard was built to work for almost anybody — whatever your age, fitness level or starting point. Here is what it does for your body:

Lower Body Strength

  • Rebuilds quad, calf, glute and hamstring strength using only gravity and your own body weight
  • No weights and no gym equipment required
  • Five adjustable angles let you begin gently and progress at your own pace

Joint Health

  • Relieves pressure on the knees, hips and ankles by strengthening the muscles that support them
  • Zero joint compression during any exercise
  • Used by physical therapists for knee and ankle rehabilitation

Flexibility and Mobility

  • Stretches the calves, hamstrings, hip flexors and Achilles deeper than the floor ever could
  • Eases morning stiffness and tightness across the lower body
  • Improves ankle range of motion and overall lower body flexibility

Balance and Stability

  • Wakes up the small stabilizing muscles around the ankle and knee
  • Builds confidence on uneven surfaces
  • Lowers fall risk through progressive stability training

Recovery and Rehabilitation

  • Gentle enough for post-surgical recovery once your doctor clears you
  • Effective for plantar fasciitis, Achilles issues and knee pain
  • Progressive enough to keep challenging your body as it gets stronger

The Bottom Line

Whether you are living with pain, coming back from surgery, losing strength, or simply want to move better — the VelorBoard meets you where you are and grows with you. And with a 90-day money-back guarantee, there is no risk in finding out for yourself.

What is the 2.0 vs Duo model?

The VelorBoard 2.0
A wider platform with a reinforced frame rated for up to 300 lbs. It keeps the same five-angle system, only built bigger and tougher for anyone who wants more room, more durability or a roomier stance. Best for: taller users, larger feet, anyone above 225 lbs, or anyone looking for the most rugged board in the lineup.

The VelorBoard Duo
Our full lower-body system. It brings the adjustable VelorBoard PLUS a curved balance board made to pair with it. The slant board stretches and strengthens calves, hips and ankles, while the balance board trains the stability and reaction time that keep falls from happening. Best for: anyone serious about complete lower-body mobility, fall prevention, or rebuilding strength.

Should knees go over toes?

Yes — and it is completely natural.

The notion that the knee should never travel past the toes has largely been set aside by current sports medicine research. Climbing stairs, squatting down or rising from a chair all send the knee forward beyond the toes on their own. That is simply how the movement is built to work.

Holding the knee back from passing the toe does not remove the load — it only moves that load onto the hip and the lower back instead.

On the VelorBoard the knee travels forward on its own as you stand on the incline. The angle loads the quad and the calf through a functional range of motion that mirrors everyday movement, and it builds the surrounding muscle strength that keeps the knee protected.

That said — any movement that increases your knee pain or brings on discomfort should be stopped right away. Every body is different, and what feels natural and pain free for one person may not suit another, depending on their specific condition or injury history. Always begin at the lowest angle on the VelorBoard and only move up when each position feels completely comfortable.

If you are recovering from a knee injury or from surgery, we always recommend checking with your doctor or physical therapist before starting any new movement routine.

A Few Minutes to Feel the Difference

Build Stronger Knees

Develops the quadriceps strength that keeps your knees steady and pain-free through everyday movement.

Better Mobility & Flexibility

Brings back the range of motion you need to walk, climb stairs, and get up off the floor without stiffness.

Reduced Lower Body Pain

Stretches the areas behind aching knees, hips, legs, feet, and lower back — so the pain you feel every day begins to fade.

Improved Balance

A stronger lower body means more confidence on your feet and less risk of slips and falls.

Faster Recovery

Eccentric loading helps tendons and muscles repair themselves, so you bounce back quicker from activity.

Prevents Costly Injuries

Strong legs are the cheapest insurance against falls, blown-out knees, and the surgeries that follow. A few minutes a day now beats months of recovery later.

A Few Minutes to Feel the Difference

Stretch. Strengthen. Restore.

Why the Velor Board's Incline Matters

Quads & VMO Activation

Quads & VMO Activation

The incline shifts your body weight into the front of your thighs, activating the inner quad muscle that stabilizes and protects your knee joint with every step.

Deep Calf & Achilles Release

Deep Calf & Achilles Release

The angled surface stretches the lower calf and Achilles tissue that wall stretches and foam rollers can't reach — the area responsible for ankle stiffness and knee tension.

Hip & Lower Back Mobility

Hip & Lower Back Mobility

The incline position gently opens the hip flexors and mobilizes the joint, so your hips do their job and your lower back stops compensating for them.

Flexibility & Balance

Flexibility & Balance

Elevated heel positioning restores dorsiflexion — the ankle movement you lose from years of flat shoes and sitting — improving balance and reducing strain on your knees with every stride.

Common Questions

What makes this different from floor stretching?

Stretching on the floor only reaches the surface layer of the muscle. The incline of the VelorBoard loads the deeper tissue — the soleus, the Achilles, the hip flexors — at a depth and angle flat ground simply cannot create. It also builds strength while it stretches, something no floor stretch does. People who have stretched on the floor for years without lasting results usually feel the difference in their very first session on the board.

Should knees go over your toes?

Current research and physical therapy practice show that letting the knees travel slightly beyond the toes is actually natural and often necessary for healthy knee movement.

Your knees already pass your toes in plenty of everyday actions, such as walking downhill, climbing stairs, or getting up from a chair. What matters is doing it in a controlled way that gradually strengthens the muscles and tendons around the knee.

The Velor Board supports this by creating a safe, controlled incline that gently loads the knees, ankles, and calves. That helps strengthen the quadriceps, patellar tendon, and surrounding support muscles, which matter for knee stability and long-term joint health.

If you are new to it, start with smaller movements or partial squats and widen your range gradually as your knees get stronger.

How do I use it and how long does it take?

Five minutes every 1-2 days.

Step onto the board, set your angle, and let the incline do the work. From there you can layer in exercises — calf raises, squats, lunges, hamstring stretches — as your body adapts and you want more of a challenge.

Can beginners safely use the Velor Board?

Absolutely! The Velor Board comes with adjustable angles, which makes it suitable and safe for beginners, seniors, and anyone with limited mobility to start gentle, effective stretching right away.

What if it doesn't work for me?

Every board comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee. Use it daily for a month. If you don't feel a difference, send it back for a full refund — no questions, no hassle.
